ALBERT SCHWEITZERS - leadership for life
23rd Annual American Celtic Ball
October 20, 2011

Join us Thursday, October 20th at The Pierre Hotel in New York City, as we pay tribute to distinguished individuals who are making a difference in the economic recovery of Ireland: Edmund F. (Ted) Kelly, Chairman, Liberty Mutual Group - Sir Michael Smurfit Business Achievement Award honoree; J.P. McManus, Irish Businessman & Philanthropist - Albert Schweitzer's Leadership for Life Award honoree and our Arts Award honoree John O'Hurley.

The American Celtic Ball is an acknowledgement of their contributions set in the elegant surroundings of the Pierre Hotel. It will be a special, professional and social evening that will include a cocktail reception with silent auction, sit-down dinner, and an awards presentation with amazing entertainment. Come learn about the Ireland Chamber of Commerce – United States (ICCUSA) past year, and our plans for the future.

We welcome the opportunity to showcase these honorees and their commitment to American and Irish Commerce, as well as our ICCUSA Foundation, Albert Schweitzer Leadership for Life Program (ASLFL). ASLFL works to inspire and enable young people across the globe to become confident and effective leaders, as well as good stewards of our world.

A highlight of the ASLFL programs is our annual International Youth Leadership Conference in Dublin, a five-day conference in partnership with Foroige (Ireland's leading youth organization); United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); University of Ireland-Galway and Penn State University. We are proud that the ASLFL curriculum has been approved by UNESCO and accredited by the National University of Ireland at Galway.

Various sponsorship levels and journal advertisements are available for the 23rd Annual American Celtic Ball. Individual tickets start at $750. If you can not attend, you can also make a donation.
